How to get referred at Reddit
Step 1
Find the exact role
Open the job on redditinc.com and copy the job link and job ID. Referrers can only submit you for a specific opening.
Step 2
Pick the right referrer
Choose a verified Reddit employee. Someone in the same team or function can speak to your fit more credibly.
Step 3
Send a focused request
Attach a resume tailored to the role and a three- or four-line note on why you fit. Lead with experience that matches what Reddit tests, such as Comment Tree Hierarchical Threading and Vote Counting & Eventual Consistency.
Step 4
Get referred and track it
Once they accept and you pay, they submit you through Reddit's internal referral portal and upload proof. Your payment is held until that proof is in.
Reddit tip: Reddit hires mostly in the US, Canada and a few international offices. Check the posting location before requesting.
