How to get referred at Etsy
Step 1
Find the exact role
Open the job on careers.etsy.com and copy the job link and job ID. Referrers can only submit you for a specific opening.
Step 2
Pick the right referrer
Choose a verified Etsy employee. Someone in the same team or function can speak to your fit more credibly.
Step 3
Send a focused request
Attach a resume tailored to the role and a three- or four-line note on why you fit. Lead with experience that matches what Etsy tests, such as Continuous Deployment & Canary Testing and Search Ranking & Visual Discovery.
Step 4
Get referred and track it
Once they accept and you pay, they submit you through Etsy's internal referral portal and upload proof. Your payment is held until that proof is in.
Etsy tip: Etsy hires mostly in the US, Ireland and Mexico. Check the posting location before requesting.
